Clear Gift Bag
Take a plain see-through gift bag and turn it into a fun work of art! Choose 4 coordinating pieces of paper,
and trim each piece so that they fit along each side of the bag, leaving a 1/4" margin on either side so you can
glue the pieces together later. There will be two smaller pieces for the sides and two larger pieces
for the front and back of the gift bag. Here we chose bright Crayola colors and randomly punched the
PP002 Flower, PP003 Star, PP008 Apple and PP011 Butterfly punch patterns on the yellow, green,
red and purple pieces respectively. When you've punched all 4 pieces, glue them together and insert them
inside the bag. Make a matching gift tag or card if you wish!

More Gift Bags
Save money and have fun at the same time by decorating plain gift bags. Take a plain white gift bag, and cut two
pieces of paper a little smaller than the front of the bag. Decorate these pieces by randomly punching a variety
of images, then adhere these pieces to the front and back of the bag. A variation is to use a plain clear bag, and
trim two pieces of paper to the same size as the bag. Decorate these pieces the same way and just slide them in.
Stuff white or colored tissue inside the bag which will show through the negative punched-out shapes! |

Confetti Envelope
Here's a great use for all that confetti you generate! Keep them in a box in your craft area instead of junking them,
so you've got a ready supply of different punched shapes on all different colors and kinds of paper. Include a handful inside a vellum
envelope to instantly jazz up your note, invitation or announcement. Adhere some more of the punches to the flap of the envelope.

Holly Seal
You can use the top portion of any WonderPress emboss pattern to create an elegant seal!
To make this particular seal, melt some clear glue with a hot glue gun directly onto the paper.
Then, while the glue is still hot, press the top portion of the EP003 Holly emboss pattern
onto the pool of glue. When the glue has cooled, remove the pattern. Accent the image by painting
the leaves and berries with an opaque white gel pen. This also looks great with colored glue.
Use this technique to seal your holiday envelopes and give them a touch of class!

Business Cards
These business cards are simple to make and hard to forget! The theme can also be adapted to thank-you's/coupons
for special customers, announcements or holiday cards. The text of the business card is printed on the top white page,
then the appropriate image is punched, in these examples, the PP006 Maple Leaf and PP008 Apple
punch patterns. The underlying sheet is cut larger than the top sheet, to show a 1/8" margin all around.

A Mosaic Scene
This postcard-perfect scene is made more eye-catching by the mosaic frame, easily created with the PP004 Rounded Square punch pattern and the
AC002 Alignment Guide.

Embossed Bookmark for All Seasons
This attractive bookmark was made with 4 of the emboss patterns to represent each season - EP002 Flower for spring, EP005 Sun for summer,
EP004 Coffee Cup for autumn, and EP003 Holly for winter. The patterns were embossed on craft foil, which embosses beautifully. The
4 squares framing the 4 embossed images were made with the PP004 Rounded Square punch pattern. Since the PP004 pattern is only a 3/4" square,
to create this larger 1.25" square you simply punch 1/2" to the right, top and left of the first square. With the AC002 Alignment
Guide this is quite easy to do.

Embossed Bookmark for All Seasons 2
This is a variation of the bookmark above. Here we've used the same 4 emboss patterns - the EP002
Flower, EP005 Sun, EP004 Coffee and EP003 Holly - to represent the seasons. Then we simply rubbed-on some
chalk to accent each image.

Punched Bookmark for All Seasons
This is a sister bookmark to the embossed bookmarks above. (Hmmm... What about doing the punch
theme on one side of the bookmark and the emboss theme on the other side? Could be a neat idea!)
The PP002 Flower, PP011 Butterfly, PP006 Maple Leaf and PP005 Evergreen Tree
punch patterns were chosen to represent the 4 seasons. The punches are spaced 1.5" apart,
which allows room to write in the names of the seasons.
Eyelets were used to attach all 3 pieces together.

Embossed Giftwrap Paper and Matching Card
The photo does not do justice to this giftwrapping job! Elegant red paper is embossed all over with the
EP003 Holly emboss pattern, then used to wrap this jewelry box. The same embossed paper is cut
and folded to make the gift tag. A gold square is cut with a deckled edge, embossed with the same
holly pattern, and pasted on top of the gift tag. A coordinating ribbon ties the whole package together.
This is an easy way to make your own giftwrapping paper, and of course,
any of the other embossing patterns can be used this way also.

Harvest Festival Announcement
This announcement - bold, unique and eye-catching, as well as simple to make - is an exercise in
cutting corners! It utilizes the diagonal lines on the AC002 Alignment Guide, which "converts" the
punch or emboss pattern to a "corner" pattern. The smallest square was lined up along the diagonal lines
of the Guide, then punched in each corner with the PP008 Apple punch pattern.
The next square was cut 1" larger than the smallest square, and
similarly punched with the PP006 Maple Leaf punch pattern. The largest square, cut 1" larger than
the middle square, was punched with the PP005 Evergreen Tree. The shapes of the punches and the
colors of the paper were appropriately chosen to announce this fall event.

Film Strip
The PP004 Rounded Square is truly a versatile punch. Using the AC002 Alignment Guide, we punched the
square at regular 1-inch intervals to form this film strip. This strip can also be a ladder or railroad
tracks. An easy accent for your scrapbook page!

Inlaid Christmas Trees Gift Tag
Make this fast and easy gift tag by punching the PP005 Evergreen Tree punch pattern randomly
on the top green piece, overlapping the punch images a little. Mount this green piece on a red
background. Punch out several trees from gold paper and inlay these gold trees within the
punched-out or negative tree shapes on the green piece.

|
Love Gift Tag
Again, we used the PP004 Rounded Square punch pattern and the AC002 Alignment Guide to make
this love gift tag. Simply punch out 2 rows of 2 squares each an inch apart and write or stamp the letters
L-O-V-E inside the squares.

Holly Embossed and Sealed Envelope
Add a touch of holiday class to your envelope! Here, we embossed the EP003 Holly emboss pattern
randomly all over our dark red paper, which we then made into an envelope.
To make the embossed images stand out more, we lightly rubbed-on some white, glittery chalk over them.
You can also do this with a stipple brush. Then, we embossed the Holly on a small square piece of
metallic paper and adhered that to the envelope flap. |

Holiday Family Photo - Bordered
Make your family photo-greeting stand out by framing it with this holiday border.
Notice that the WonderPress® allows you to make a border that is right-side-up all the way around!
Depending on your finished card size (i.e. if the height of your card is greater than 6”),
you may have to turn the patterns upside-down inside the WonderPress® to complete the top row of the border.
You’ll be reaching in with the WonderPress™ from the top of your page,
but your image will actually be right-side-up.
Here, using the AC002 Alignment Guide, the PP005 Evergreen Tree image was punched every other inch along each side.
Then at every other inch, a variety of other images – the PP003 Star, PP012 Teddy Bear and
PP001 Heart – were punched.
In addition, the Rounded Square punch was used to make the cutout for the text beneath the photo.
This punch is only a .75" square, but you can adapt it to make any size rectangle you want:
Punch the 4 corners of your desired rectangle cutout, and then run a blade to join the 4 corners together into a rectangle. |
