Slot Corners
The PP015 Slot Punch was designed for threading 1/4" ribbon, so now you're not just limited to putting your ribbons around the edges. It's a very versatile shape, though, and can be used as building blocks to "draw" things like candles and letters. Here we illustrate it's use to make diagonal slits to hold the corners of photographs or other materials down.
Fourth of July
This patriotic card takes advantage of PP003 Star punch pattern and the AC002 Alignment Guide. Stars are punched 1.5" apart, and rows are .75" apart vertically. Stamp complementing stars randomly in yellow ink on both the main and caption pieces. This is great for summer picnic/BBQ and 4th of July layouts.
Christmas Tree Card
This card is absolutely arresting! It's simple to make too, with the use of the AC002 Alignment Guide. The large Christmas Tree is formed by 5 rows of punched trees, using the PP005 Evergreen Tree punch pattern. The PP003 Star punch pattern was used to make the star tree topper, and the PP004 Rounded Square punch pattern was used to form the "tree trunk" and the cutouts for the letters P-E-A-C-E.
More Gift Bags
Save money and have fun at the same time by decorating plain gift bags. Take a plain white gift bag, and cut two pieces of paper a little smaller than the front of the bag. Decorate these pieces by randomly punching a variety of images, then adhere these pieces to the front and back of the bag. A variation is to use a plain clear bag, and trim two pieces of paper to the same size as the bag. Decorate these pieces the same way and just slide them in. Stuff white or colored tissue inside the bag which will show through the negative punched-out shapes!
Spring Scene Page
This is an easy page for those spring photos. Emboss EP001 Flowers along the bottom of the page, and a EP005 Sun near the upper left corner. Then use a shadow/block rubber stamp, and ink each embossed image in an appropriate color. The raised or embossed part gets more of the ink which makes the image stand out great. This is a useful technique for other dry embossed applications. Punch a PP011 Butterfly in the upper right corner, and then working backwards from its tail, punch a "trail" using the PP013 1/8" Circle.
Two-Tone Flower Card
This is a super simple card to make that doesn't look it. To create the two-tone look, choose two coordinating pieces of paper. Cut one of the pieces so it is half as wide as the other piece and glue it on top of that piece. Then simply punch the PP002 Flower in the middle. Then cut two more pieces a little larger than the first ones. Again cut one of the pieces in half and glue it on top of the other piece. Then adhere the smaller punched-out piece to this larger one. You can further decorate the card by attaching more two-tone flowers with eyelets along the bottom.
Checkerboard Background
Create a checkerboard by using the PP004 Rounded Square and the AC002 Alignment Guide. The squares are 1.5" apart horizontally, and the rows are .75" apart vertically. Stamp fun images in the "positive" squares left. A great all-occasion layout.
Embossed Bookmark for All Seasons
This attractive bookmark was made with 4 of the emboss patterns to represent each season - EP002 Flower for spring, EP005 Sun for summer, EP004 Coffee Cup for autumn, and EP003 Holly for winter. The patterns were embossed on craft foil, which embosses beautifully. The 4 squares framing the 4 embossed images were made with the PP004 Rounded Square punch pattern. Since the PP004 pattern is only a 3/4" square, to create this larger 1.25" square you simply punch 1/2" to the right, top and left of the first square. With the AC002 Alignment Guide this is quite easy to do.
Winter Wonderland
Here we’ve chosen vivid blue and green papers for the sky and earth portions of the card. Draw and cut a curved outline representing the horizon on your sky and earth pieces. Trim these pieces to size so they fit nicely on your white background paper, with margins all around and in between.

To create the snow-covered trees, randomly punch the green paper with the PP005 Evergreen Tree punch pattern. To create the snowdrops, randomly punch both the green and blue paper with the PP013 1/8” Circle punch pattern. Punch out some stars with the PP003 Star punch pattern and adhere them on to the blue paper. Great for snow and holiday layouts.

Just For You
With the wide ribbons and red tag, this card looks like a gift just waiting to be opened! We chose a metallic paper that really shows the EP006 Spiral embossed images well. We also punched some PP013 1/8" Circle on the tag and the metallic paper.
